Savoury Cheesy Biscuits have the power to quickly become very moore-ish. Garbing just one is not quiet enough, because soon after you will want another and another … These Savoury Cheesy Biscuits are the perfect moore-ish snack, a party treat or a great appetizer. Unlike many other biscuits which rely on raising agents or butter, these Savoury Cheesy Biscuits are made with readily available ingredients, like cheese, flour and a few other extras which make them soft to bite into and an overall super delicious snack.

About this recipe …

I made these Savoury Cheesy Biscuits quiet some time ago, and I thought why not share the recipe. There are some tweaks to it, such as the new flavouring of the entire batter. Instead of using plain sour cream, this recipe uses a sour cream and chives dip – might sound weird but it works and it’s really good! These biscuits are not like the typical English style biscuit with a raising agent, instead the cheese and mayonnaise give all the softness that you need and the rest is all there to enhance flavour and make these biscuits delicious. These biscuits are so tasty and totally worth a try!

The ingredients …

If you are looking for the full ingredient list and instructions, then head down below to find all the details. The ingredients for these Savoury Cheesy Bites are fairly simple, and some of them may already be hanging around in the pantry. This recipe uses a combination of wet and dry ingredients (no suprise). These are all purpose flour, salt & pepper, mayonnaise, sour cream & chives dip, chopped ham, and a splash of olive oil. The batter comes together nicely, think of scones! No need to refrigerate the batter, instead roll it out, cut out circles with the smallest cookie cutter and bake!

Can you adapt the ingredients?

Definitely! While I love the flavour combinations of these ingredients, from the cheesy texture to the flavour of the ham, sour cream and chives dip, and the softness of the mayonnaise, you could definitely adapt some ingredients. Perhaps swap out the ham for some chopped mushroom or peppers. The mayonnaise could be altered with Greek yogurt. You could also add some dried herbs for extra flavour. However, this particular recipe works really well, try it at least once and then adjust accordingly.

More Savoury Snacks …

If you like these Savoury Cheesy Biscuits then why not try some other savoury bakes.

The Serbian Cheese Pita / Pie is another great idea to add to the breakfast table, or simply as some appetizers.

The Rustic Spring Onion & Veggie Scones are also one of my favourites. They can be the perfect addition to an afternoon tea or snack.

These delicious Svaoury Cheesy Biscuits are the perfect treat for any time. The cheesy texture and flavour is super delicious, and the sour cream and chives dip adds that extra, unexpected flavour which tastes amazing. Not to mentions, this recipe is super easy to make, which means no need to spend hours slaving away in the kitchen. In a short amount of time, you can have these tasty savoury bites.
